Survey Shows Consumers Optimistic on Real Estate

eMediaWire (06/23/08)
A new poll from Housing Predictor indicates that most consumers believe the national real estate market will improve in a short time. About 50 percent of respondents said they believe the real estate market will rebound within the next two years, and 25 percent said conditions will turn around in a year or less. The online survey also reveals that only 28 percent expect it to take five years or more for the credit market to improve the real estate market. In a March survey, Housing Predictor learned that an overwhelming majority of respondents believe Congress will botch the effort to ease the turmoil in the real estate market.
