In Massachusetts, several lawmakers plan to introduce a trio of bills to curtail foreclosures and minimize their community impact. In addition to a six-month freeze on subprime foreclosures, the measures would mandate that every foreclosure be accompanied by a judge's approval and safeguard tenants and former owners from eviction in the event of foreclosure.
